- Now Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Elements are very similar. Photoshop just does 10 times as more. - Yeah, it's the elder statesman of the Photoshop clan. - [Rich] So similar, File > New, Rob, and you'll notice that we have a nice visual browser here so we can choose the category that we want, Film & Video, and then if we take a look at the presets, you'll also see that these are a bit newer with things like UHD, 4K, 8K files, so easy enough. So why don't we do a 4K one this time? - [Rob] Now Rich, before you go ahead and click OK, there's two other things I want to point out here. You know, a lot of people say, "Oh, your video file has to be 72 pixels per inch, "or 72dpi." That sort of used to be true, right, but it doesn't really matter in most applications more, right? - Without going too nerdy, the short version is is that in the old days, Macintosh monitors were 72 pixels per inch, and Windows monitors were 92 pixels per inch.
