Selecting and using a pro camera via Thunderbolt or USB 3

- While using the built-in camera or a third-party camera that you attach to your computer via USB is a great solution, you might already have a professional video camera in your collection. In this case, there are many different ways to send that camera signal into a computer. Your pro camera, like the one here, might have a connection type like SDI or HDMI. SDI is the more professional video connection, and it's a locking BNC-type connection. But there are solutions for HDMI, as well. What you'll need is some sort of device that converts that signal into something that your computer can use. Now, I've got two of those devices here. For example, right here is the UltraStudio. In this case, you'll notice that there is an SDI and an HDMI input, which will allow me to pass the signal into the device. On this end is a Thunderbolt connection.
