Screen resolution choices

- As you configure your computer, I'd like to suggest that you pay attention to the resolution settings of the screen. This will affect how much data you're trying to push as well as how clear it is to read things that are shared from your desktop. There are several common sizes that are used. Back in the past, we used to use standard definition screens but we've moved into high definition being very popular and we are even starting to see people using 4K computer monitors. Generally speaking, you want to think about the choices you have. Originally, four by three was the most common. This was the old computer standard. The aspect ratio would be four units wide by three units high. This was very common until 2003 and represented sizes like 1024 by 768. After this, a newer standard emerged that's still widely used today. 16 by 10 or 1.6 to one as a ratio. These were sizes like 1280 by 800, or 1920 by 1200.
