Reusing effects

- [Instructor] Resolve, at this time, has very little capabilities of saving pre-built effects, especially with keyframes. What I can do, at this point, is copy and paste. And I'm going to do that by going to a shot here, where I've done some animation and choose Copy. I'm going to do that via right-click, but that could just as easily be a Command + C on the Macintosh, Control + C on the PC. And I'm going to come to the clip, where I'd like it to live on, select it, and go up to the Edit menu and choose Paste Attributes. There's a pretty busy dialog box here and I can tell it to use all the attributes, just the ones I wanted. I can tell it also to keep the timing, the speed of the original set of keyframes. I'm going to have this one stretch to fit though. In other words, it's going to stretch it out, 'cause it's a longer clip. And I'm going to say Apply. And, just like before, you can see that effects that have no keyframes, no adjustments on them, look normal. The ones that have it…
