- Computers these days do all sorts of things to help keep us organized, reminding us about meetings and appointments, and instantly keeping us in touch with all sorts of folks who want to email us, send us instant messages and more. The problem is that all of these things will pop up at the worst possible moment when screen casting, and you might not notice them until you get a few minutes in and you suddenly see notification about your most recent Amazon shipment sitting there in the upper right corner. Well, you need to turn these things off. - [Host] Inside the dock and menu bar, I suggest that you uncheck the option to automatically hide and show the menu bar. This way it doesn't just randomly pop up. I'll also go ahead and turn off the option here for automatically hide and show the doc. You'll see it pops up. If I click it, then it goes away.
