Reducing audio interference

- As you prepare for your webinar, I recommend strongly that you try to remove any audio distractions. Audio is often referred to as half the picture. And what's meant there, is that this is one of the most important aspects that people will pay attention to. If your webinar has bad audio, people will likely drop. They can deal with stuttery video or a slight lag, but if the audio can't be clearly heard, they're likely going to abandon the show. So what can you do? Well first up, you want to remove any cell phones or cellular devices from the area. These devices are transmitters and as they start to receive information, they can also transmit back out. And in both cases, this can create electrical interference. If your phone decides to pull down email or an incoming call comes in, that can create audio interference that will get picked up by your microphone. So make sure you set this pretty far away.
