(upbeat music) - When it domes time to record your tutorial there are many things you can do to get better results. One of my big pet peeves is getting interrupted while recording a tutorial. This is really common. People can knock on the door. The phone can ring. You get email. What are some of the things you do, Rob, to sort of put up the cone of silence before you start to record? - Yeah, a couple things I do. First of all, when it comes to the device that you always have on you, your telephone, put it into Do Not Disturb mode. There's nothing worse than being in the middle of a brilliant statement or right where you're about to have the aha moment in your tutorial, and somebody text messages you, or you get a phone call. Put this on Do Not Disturb. Also, on your machine itself. If you're on the Mac, you can just come up to the notification center and turn on Do Not Disturb. - Yeah, and you can also press the option click on that, to hide notifications so that they don't pop up in…
