- Okay, we've touched on quite a number of areas in the planning phase. Let's now turn our focus to our audience. What do we need to know to be sure they have a great experience with our content? What obstacles and opportunities do we face? Let's start with the term quality. What does quality really mean on different platforms? In transmedia, quality means different things in different places. At home, watching a 4K original series on Netflix, I'm gonna want the fastest download speed possible and my most beautiful screen to watch it. On my phone, checking my Twitter feed, mmh, I don't really care that much. The content I'm looking at, I can quickly digest on the go, it doesn't bother me so much if I don't see all those beautiful pixels. For some people, quality simply means when I click, something happens right away, even if the resolution or framing or lighting isn't perfect. I want it now.
