- So now your vlog is ready to go to the outside world and what do you do? Well, there's a few things to go over and things that I think are successful actions that you can apply on a consistent basis to not only make it easier for people to find what it is that you are publishing about but also to help build your audience. So the first thing for me is thumbnails. Whenever somebody sees a vlog come up, they want to have an idea visually of what that's going to be. So in Steven's episode here and I'm sure he'll do something a little bit different when he cuts his first vlog together, I have actually created just a little title over his video and it says Favorite Old Tools. Maybe that becomes a segment that's a recurring segment that he has. Maybe it's just a one-off for a particular episode.
