- So when it comes to prepping your talent, Lindsey and I actually prepared for this a month in advance. What I did was, I sent her all the questions I would be asking in this doc form style video ad. She had the chance to answer these questions ahead of time as well as not memorize these questions by heart, but prepare for the points that she wanted to mention during our video shoot. On top of this, during the actual production, I made sure to take her through what we were gonna do at what time, so while we were sitting down in the interview process, I basically mentioned the questions that I would be asking Lindsey, and also reminded her, based on what she said, I might ask an alternative question that was not on that list or sheet. I think one thing to keep in mind, when it comes to prepping your talent, specifically, if you're a one-man video crew, is that you need to really balance the shots that you're gonna get, along with making sure that your talent comes across naturally…
