- Planning out your shots will have a big impact…on the video content you produce.…After you're done your research…and start to become more familiar with…the locations you're going to,…having a supportive shot list can make all the difference.…In this movie, we're going to take a look at the various ways…you can plan your video shots for when you're on the move.…So when planning what to shoot…when traveling with your gear,…you want to keep in mind a couple things.…First of all, I did a ton of Google Map searches…for locations in and around the areas that I was staying in…to maximize what I was capturing in the foreground…next to the Northern Lights,…as well as to have multiple options in case of bad weather,…i.e. cloud coverage over one area…that happened to be, let's say, in the West…versus another set of mountains in an area…that happened to be in the East close to the location,…such as in Actuary, Iceland.…
I also tried to find shots…that were inspiring in these locations,…and actually use them as storyboards,…
