- If all you had to do was just plan and deliver your video resume, it would still be quite an accomplishment. But, of course, you also need to record it. And it's important that you spend the time making the video look and sound its best. Because, unfortunately, if you skimp on your production, your message may be sabotaged because people won't be able to look past the poor video quality. Now I'm assuming most people watching this aren't video professionals. And that's fine. Even if you have no recording equipment at all, except your phone camera, that's okay. But regardless of what camera you use, I do recommend mounting it on a tripod and if you are using your phone, you might consider incorporating a mobile filmmaking case like these examples from iOgrapher, which will let you mount your phone on a tripod and also attach accessories to it like lights and microphones.
