Planning production assets

- Now that pre-production is well under way, it's time to plan the shoot. Some documentaries are shot over many days, weeks, months, or even years, others are shot on a concentrated production shoot. The ProjectRelo documentary will be shot over a week or so, so I'll mostly be discussing the production shoot method of planning and scheduling. For now, let's start with a high level discussion and later we'll plug in the ProjectRelo details into the equation. Now, let's talk a bit more about some of the different types of assets that we intend to gather. First up, interviews. Some interviews may be formal sit-down interviews, others are more organic conversations that occur when the documentary subject is performing a task. Some interviews are conducted in the subject's own home or work environment, or you travel to their turf to conduct the interview.
