- The bag you bring with you can make a world of difference for your mobile video productions. It can get you in and out of airports fast, give you access to your most required gear, and also give you the flexibility in packing different equipment. Let's look at a few tips and tricks we can use for packing our video gear just before we jump on a plane. So, for my first tip for packing like a pro, is if you are checking in equipment, you're going to want to make sure that you have a appropriate case that's going to protect your gear, such as a Pelican case that you see here. I'm just going to open the Pelican case and show you that it has a bunch of protective styrofoam inside that you can of course purchase this online and cut this up yourself to the dimensions of your gear, but lots of space and lots of protection for bringing gear abroad or wherever you need to.
