- I'd like to share a few pieces of practical advice on organizing your assets for a webinar. What happens during a webinar is that you have a lot of different things to show and the last thing you want to be doing is searching through multiple attached hard drives, thumb drives, and scrambling to find your files. So, you're going to want to take a tip on how we do things here when we're putting together a class. We'll often make a folder filled with exercise files so they're all ready. And I do the same thing when teaching live. Everything is in a series of nested folders ready to go. So, what should you do here? Well first up, I strongly recommend you set up a folder for your webinar. And within there, you make sub folders for any important points or demonstrations that you're planning on giving. If there's going to be articles or handouts, put all of those into one folder so you can showcase them. If you need your presentation, have that there as well with a second backup copy. I…
