- Chances are your webinar will have some visuals, might be a presentation, some graphics or videos that you share, but rarely is it just a talking head or voice only. People need to see what you're discussing. Well, let me share some practical strategies. First up, I recommend that you optimize your slides for presentation. Remember, people scan. They don't read word-for-word. Additionally, you should consider using shorter bullets, and try to avoid what I refer to as open captions for the thinking impaired. Don't write everything out on the slide and simply read it to people, rather remember that the bullets are short phrases that help people encode the information. You'll likely want to increase the font point size to address compression in smaller screens, using 24, 32, or even larger-sized type. You could also consider using boldface or color for impact.
