>> Once you start to put all these lights together, and you think through all the pieces, it really is a matter of just achieving a good balance between your subject and the background. Let's head on set with director of photography Jim Ball as he walks you through the process of getting a properly lit backdrop. >> So, in order of things, I've pretty much taken care of our three-point lighting that we talked about. And now I'm going to move to our background which is just as, just as important creatively as, as the portraiture lighting. So, I'm going to go start working back there and see what we can do. So, as you can see once again, I'm choosing to extinguish the natural lighting in the setting back there because it was a little off color. And I don't want to take the time to correct it with gels. So I've turned the lights off in that background there and I've added my own little fixtures just to add some pools of color that are appropriate to our scene. So, throughout this process,…
