- There are hundreds of webinar hosting platforms out there. They vary greatly in price and features, and what I'd like to do here is share some specific recommendations on what options to look for. You might not need all of these, but these are things that I like to consider when choosing a hosting platform. First up are features that you'll take advantage before you have the webinar or meeting. Signup pages are quite useful. This allows people to register for the webinar. You can capture leads, as well as convey important information about the event, such as the time and the participants, and if there's any cost. Social promotion is quite useful. You want the ability to stay in touch with your audience, whether that's an internal or external audience. The ability to easily embed post and send out reminders is critical, and some platforms will even allow you to integrate the content right into a social media page.
