- One of the most important details to get into place before your crew arrives is insurance and permissions. Let's take a look at the types of insurance that you might need for a project. There's Production Liability Insurance, there's Equipment Insurance, there's Workman's Compensation and there's Errors and Omissions. Production Liability Insurance is the most common kind that you're going to really need to make sure that your production team has and sometimes they will need to name the location as the additional insured or name your company as the additional insured for the location where you're shooting and that's something's that's very routine and they can pop that request off to their insurance company, and get it to you right away.
