- Hi, my name's Rich Harrington. - And I'm Robbie Carman. - And welcome to this week's episode of Corporate Video Weekly. We're continuing our look at getting better results when recording on a smartphone or tablet, and this week we're going to specifically focus on the Android applications and platform on how you can really tweak any of those devices to get better results. And Rob, I think one of the first things, and it sounds kind of strange, but the microphone on the phone isn't good. Now, it's good when it's this close to your subject, but it's not so good if I'm shooting over here. It's pointing at me, but the camera's pointing that way. - Yeah, audio's one of the things that audiences pay attention to. We're less forgiving about audio issues than we are video issues, simply because we listen to each other talk day in and day out, and we recognize good quality audio when we hear it, and more importantly we recognize poor quality audio when we hear it.
