Importing media on the Edit page
- [Instructor] The first thing we want to do, of course, is import media, and I'm going to do that here on our Edit page. To do this, we'll go up to the File menu, we're going to choose Import Media, that's a Command + I on the Macintosh, and a Control + I on the PC. I'm going to go ahead here and navigate to my B-Roll, select all of it by clicking on the first one, Shift-clicking on the last. Alternatively, I could use Command + A on the Macintosh or Control + A on the PC to select everything. I'm going to choose Open, and it brings all of my clips into the project. The name for the project itself inside of Resolve is called the Media Pool, because it's a pool of where all the media exists. These clips are selected, so I'm just going to click on the gray in the background. As I drag across a clip, it gets automatically loaded up into the source monitor, and you can see me scrub through it.
