- In the nature of production, we find ourselves in so many unique environments. Our number one goal is to keep our team safe. So on your location scout, you need to look for any risks that are in that location. Make sure you identify any safety equipment that's going to be needed, like here we have an ice skater. Ice skaters travel really quickly, right? Automatically, I can see I need protection for my DP from the ice. He can't just be low on the ground and freeze his knees, so he had to bring extra equipment to keep himself safe. It also helped me identify that I needed a DP that could ice skate. They have to be a very good ice skater because they're not going to be completely concentrating on skating. They're still going to be concentrating on getting the shot. We don't want the ice skater to get hurt or the DP. So I've done a shoot before where I was at actually a live drag race. Those cars get really loud, and it's…
