Identifying the logistic needs of your production

- Now we need to identify the logistics we need for our production. This will help us find a location that also fits and our production can fit into. What gear do you need? As you start to walk about a location, pay attention to identify any specialty gear you'll need for your production. Defining any specialty considerations will help you figure out a location that will fit better for your production ahead of time. Next you need to identify those key crew members that are going to have the biggest say on the locations. Maybe your director of photography, maybe your director. They have a big impact on how your video looks and turns out. You should have taken the time to break down your scenes. So, this is where that comes into play, because now we need to know how many scenes we need out of a location. One mistake I see all the time is people forget to put money in for travel. You need to know if you have a travel budget. If you do, you can look for locations that maybe are a couple hours away or you can fly to. But if you don't have a travel budget, you need to make sure it's driving distance away.
