- So now we're in chapter two, lesson five, and this one is all about B-roll, otherwise known as basically extra footage that you shoot outside of your interview shot. And really, what is B-roll, what are these actual shots? Well, they're relevant, powerful shots, that really reflect what you're talking about in your interview. So, as an example, with Erica in the flower shop, you know, in her interview she's talking about her business, and this, you know, her making and selling of flowers, so, you know, in those kind of extra shots that she shot, it was reflective of flowers that she makes, arrangements, and you want to highlight the different things like the colors of the flowers, and, you know, what she also shot was interaction with a customer, 'cause she has a business. There was a product of a poodle that she made, so we wanted to highlight that, and then, you know, there could be also an exterior of her business, or…
