How to dress for a job interview

- While it may seem cliche, you do need to dress for success when it comes time for your job interview. I always suggest taking a look around. If possible, try to explore what the company looks like. Maybe you visited in advance, maybe you've looked at their social media pages or their website, and you see some photographs of employees. You want to look like you fit in. So if it's a more formal office, you might need to dress up a bit. If it's more casual, you might dress down a little bit. But remember, slightly overdressed is better than underdressed. You can always remove a jacket or a sport coat or simplify a little bit when you get there. But what you can't do is compensate wearing blue jeans, showing up to an office where everyone's in a suit. Generally speaking, I say favor clean clothing but not flashy. You want to look crisp and very presentable but not be distracting. So keep things like jewelry a bit simpler.…
