- [Instructor] There are times when After Effects choose to display something and then the next day it is suddenly gone. Is it witchcraft? Probably not, this is just a switch. But what switch is it? Well it turns out that there are couple of them. So in no particular order, here are some of the things that you can show or hide when working inside After Effects. To demonstrate this I have this composition with couple of layers and some of them are switched off. But let's begin with the obvious one. So we have this text which is falling down from above and we can obviously see that there is some sort of an animation. Now, let's say that I want to edit the motion path. You can see that I'm selecting the layer, I'm going to press U, so you can also see that there are handful of keyframes here but After Effects is not showing me the keyframes or the path on top of the composition panel.
