- If you're going to be mobile, having some sort of stabilizer goes a long way. Now Rob, you've got the classic selfie stick there, and there's no power there, but how does using something like that, if done properly, help stabilize the shot? - Well, there's a couple of things that a selfie stick can do, and there's a couple of different varieties of a selfie stick. This particular selfie stick has a little tripod base, right, so I could put this on a wall or on the ground, get up to it and control my camera and be able to fire off shots like that. Now, if I undid the tripod base like this, right, to take it off, I could also if I wanted to, put this on an actual tripod, because it's threaded, which gives it more stability like that. But the really cool thing is that once it's in extended mode like this, right, one of the reasons I can stay stable is because of my body positioning, right?
