- Screening your film for feedback is a little scary, a little exciting and absolutely necessary. You cannot make films in a vacuum. You must open yourself up to get that feedback. You aren't just making it for you. You're making it for a much wider audience and you absolutely need to figure out if it's working. So when you're very happy with where things are at, it's time to begin the screening process. I think it's good to show the film to at least three different types of audiences. First, show it to people that are part of your target audience. These people are going to be able to tell you what they connected with, what was confusing, what bothered them, what exhilarated them. Also, these people are not vested in the success of the film and it's good to have uninvested people as part of your target audience. Now, in my case, that means that I needed to show it to veterans and executives that didn't already know about Project RELO. So I asked Mike and Christian's help for this and…
