- Hi, I'm Eduardo Angel. Welcome to the One Person Crew Video Productions Tips and Tricks. This week, I would like to share with you how to find interesting subjects especially when working in foreign countries. Okay, Let me tell you how I find subjects in foreign countries. I asked all my friends on Facebook if they knew any Japanese artisans I could contact. A day later, a friend from high school connected me with a couple that owns a historic cinema in downtown Kumamoto. I met with the couple over amazing ramen and they were very happy to participate on my artisans project. The problem was that the cinema had been renovated and while historical and beautiful it wasn't what I was looking for. A couple of days later, I met with the couple again, and they told me about their friend who is one of the last 12 Higo-zogan artisans working in Japan. Of course, I heard 12 last artisans.
