When you're lighting, I always like to go for the emotion. How do we want the audience to feel as they're looking at this person? You mentioned earlier that lighting in interviews is really all about portraiture. And you could make that person look dramatically different with the lights. And I think it ties down to the emotional response. What are you trying to convey about your subject? How do you want the audience to feel. Jim, do you have any sort of processes that you run through when you're deciding how to light it as far as what your trying to evoke in the audience. >> Sure I mean, I think a lot of people would agree that lighting is the principal tool for creating mood in videography and cinematography. And having said that, you look first at, you know, the story, the subject and, and the environment as well.
