- [Narrator] Just some general thoughts for Premiere, Final Cut 7, and Avid users. First, Avid users, there are no segment modes. There's no yellow and red arrow. For this you can just grab clips and freely move them around and this is a modeless system. Avid, you have to choose a mode. Fit tools like Premiere Pro or Final Cut 7 are modeless. Just so you're aware, there are no segment modes. Beyond that, moving clips is very similar, you can just drag and drop clips around and again for my Avid people it's acting like the red arrow mode. The yellow arrow mode is done via Swap Edit and again, those keys for the Swap Edit, I'm just going to zoom in here on the timeline, cmd + plus, cmd + plus. When I go and I move this clip, I have to hold down on the PC alt + ctrl, on a Mac cmd + opt, and it allows me to swap positions of clips on the timeline. You probably want snapping on for those, just so it snaps to existing edits. The last part that's really different for all of you users is this…
