- [Female Instructor] Hi welcome to Module three, Unit two. We're going to learn to pull a key in iMovie. This is a program that comes free on Mac computers. It's the easiest program to pull a key. As we go into other programs, the techniques get slightly more complicated, but you will also get a better result. For now, iMovie does a great job with just a few clicks. In all of those programs, I want to cover three main areas. One, pulling a key. Two, using a garbage mask to keep just what you need, and three, using a simple color correction on your talent. In iMovie, first you're going to bring in your background and your foreground and we're just going to take this background and drag it onto the timeline. And then, I will be setting an in and out point of my foreground using the key I for in, O for out. I'll place that in my timeline as well and it's very simple after you get to this point.
