- Welcome to Module three Unit one, The Post-Production Workflow. The most common editing softwares have the ability to key a green screen. We'll demonstrate using iMovie, Final Cut, Premiere, and After Effects. For Final Cut Pro, I brought in my foreground and background. First thing I'll do is to put my foreground onto the timeline. What I like to do is to put my clips on video track two and I'll get to this in a second, but for now, let's just make some cuts in our video. Okay, let's just pretend that this is my edit. Now, I want to bring in my background onto video track one and since it's a still image, I'm just going to drag it until it is the same duration as my clips. I want to work in this layer based system because once I have my key, I can directly see my background and with my background here, I can see better what my final result is going to be.
