- [Instructor] One of the most powerful features of resolve is the Edit Index. I'm going to go ahead and open that up. The Edit Index itself is sort of like an EDL, a list, a decision list on steroids. You can see how I've got this clip selected, and it's highlighted here in the Edit Index. And similar to Bin list, I can right click up here, I can turn off things I don't want. For example, I'm going to turn of the Real, I'm going to go ahead here and turn on let's say turn off the Source In and Out information, I'll leave Comments, I'll leave Color, I'll leave Notes. This allows me to see what the clips are, based on their name. You can see the transitions I've done, like a Cross Dissolve. As I go ahead and I click up and down this list, you're able to see Resolve work its way down the timeline, to where those elements are. Now this is a pretty complex list and hard to read. It'd be a lot easier if you go up to this options menu, and say, "Hey, just show me the video track items." Or,…
