- So we just discussed what to do when I get on set. Now on this lesson, we're going to discuss how do I direct the client. Now a lot of the times, your clients, this is going to be the first time they've probably been on camera. I always like to strike up conversation, ask them if they've done it before, get some sort of background 'til they're comfortable level of being on camera, working with cameras. And it really helps to just get a background and idea about what your client has experienced. So when you get 'em on camera, just make it as comfortable as possible. Make sure they have water nearby, talk to 'em, let 'em know exactly how it's going to go down. If they're looking into the camera, make sure that that's okay. If they're looking off, that helps a lot too, if the video calls for it. Because you can have a lot more conversational tone to it. And a lot of times we'll freeze up just staring directly into the…
