- The decision when to hire someone on your staff…can be pretty scary.…There are lots of issues to address…but I see a lot of people making bad choices.…If you're routinely hiring freelancers for the same jobs…over and over again you might want to consider…hiring a staff person.…Sure, there could be different people…that you like working with…but just because you like having all of these…different people around at your office…at different times doesn't mean that you're spending…your money wisely.…I suggest that at the end of the year…you look at your budget spent on outside vendors…and evaluate if it's time to move one of those inside.…
How many people did you hire to work freelance?…If it's a lot and you spent thousands of dollars more…than it would cost for a salary maybe it's time…to just pull the trigger and finally hire that person.…Remember though that freelancers have to charge you more…because they're paying for other things.…They're paying for tax withholding that the employer…normally covers part of.…
