Deleting clips

- [Narrator] Before I start deleting clips, I'd like to go ahead and duplicate my timeline. Now, I have two common ways of doing that. One is by selecting it and going up to the edit menu and using copy paste. And these are keys I expect you to know on your system. It's command c on the Macintosh, control c on the PC. And control or command v for paste. The other way to do it is by right clicking on the sequence itself, going up to timelines and choosing duplicate timeline. Doesn't make a difference which one you do. I generally prefer to copy paste, but this time I'll choose duplicate. And down here at the bottom I'll rename it. I'm going to call it six edit, and since this will be to the end I'll call it finish. Now, I'm going to go ahead and start deleting clips. Before I do, I'm just going to make the interface a little bit more accessible. So I'm going to hide the media pool. I'm going to hide my source monitor so I only have one monitor visible.
