- Let's move to defining your mission and your brand within a larger organization. Now, if you work in a big corporation and you're the communications department or the video production team within that, you still need to think about your brand and who you serve and what it is you deliver. It's important to think about your mission statement and write it in a collaborative process inside your department. Of course, you're going to want to get some cross-department input as well, and they'll probably want to give you some in terms of what it is your role is within the larger organization. You want to define your departmental mission and think about it within the values and the overall mission of the organization. Obviously, that's the mission you're there to propel with video.
