Copy and paste

- [Instructor] Copy and pasting is very straightforward, at least as far as the cut is concerned. I can go ahead here and right-click, and I can choose Cut, which will do a lift, Undo, I can also choose as a right-click to do a Ripple Cut, which will close that gap, that's also found under the Edit menu, or I could do a Copy, a Cmd + C, or Ctrl + C on the PC. I'm going to go ahead and copy this clip. I'm just going to come to the end of the timeline and I'm going to paste it. When I hit Paste, it comes back where it was set. I'm going to hit an Undo, and I'm going to turn off the V2 and A2 auto selects. This time when I hit Paste, it's going to come in the lowest active track. So Resolve is intelligently copying and pasting to the original tracks things were on, and when the auto selects are off, it's going to whatever the lowest active auto select is. Last, instead of a Paste, I could have also done a Paste Insert. It's sort of the opposite of Ripple Cut. And this is just a great way…
