- So we know the equipment that we've going to use. Now let's talk about location. When deciding on a shoot location, you should make sure of a couple of factors. You need to find a quiet place, as removed from uncontrollable outside influences as possible and you need to make sure the location is accessible and available for the entire time of the shoot. Interruptions in your shoot schedule aren't just inconvenient, they can really disturb the production flow, continuity and can affect the talent's performance. You also want to make sure that the space is large enough to support your production needs in terms of the various camera angles that you intend to capture and if you have additional production equipment or crew, you need to make sure that everything and everyone can logistically and safely work within a space.
