Autosave and Live Save

- [Instructor] Resolve by default isn't automatically saving your work. It also has a feature called Live Save that's important for us to look at. To find this, we're going to go ahead here and go to the Resolve menu Preferences. That's under the Edit menu if you're on Windows. And here is a choice here called Auto Save. Currently you can see it's off. I can have this turn on and save every so many minutes, as well as listing those backups for me. Now, there are none here, 'cuz this project hasn't made it that far. I like that, and I like the idea that it keeps discrete versions, but nowadays I prefer to have Live Save on. And with Live Save on, Resolve is saving every step I do, so even if it crashes, I'm able to keep everything that goes on. If you are working and haven't saved, Resolve's name, the name of the actual project here at the top, will turn yellow after 15 minutes. You'll notice any change I make says edited.
