Learn how to use keyframing to create a video effect animation.
- In our last session we looked at the basics of key framing…going from one point, or one set of settings,…to another and seeing the program…create animation between the two.…In this one, we're going to look at some more advanced…uses of key framing with video effects.…I'm going to select a clip of video here on my timeline…And them I'm going to apply to it the crop effects.…I'm going over to the effects panel…by clicking on the effects button on my tool bar,…locating the crop effect by clicking on the magnifying glass…and typing "crop" and dragging it on to my clip.…
As you know we can create our crop settings…either by using sliders and numbers here on the right,…or we can simply select "crop" here in the effect panel…and then we can actually change the settings…by dragging on the corner handles.…And what I like to do is create a crop effect that…starts with sort of a close-up of these two,…and then at the end of the video clip,…this crop will have widened so much…to show us the whole scene, in fact,…I'm just going to have that run just a second or two.…
