Adding narration
- [Instructor] Narration can be a powerful way to enhance your movies. Narration helps tell the story, it fills in gaps, it helps clarify what your movie is showing. To launch the Narration tool, you simply go over to the toolbar on the right and click on the Tools button. You'll find the Narration tool under the Audio tools. There it is. And open it up. First thing you want to check is to ensure that the Mic Sensitivity is reacting to the sound of your voice. In this case, it is for me. You can also set it up right here, or ensure that it's properly set up, by clicking on the Mic Source icon. And there you can see that my microphone is properly configured. If you're not seeing a reaction here in the little VU meter under Mic Sensitivity, close the panel, go to your Preferences. Now on a Mac, the Preferences are off to the left, as they would be with any program on a PC. They're under the Edit menu. So select Preferences and go to Audio Hardware.
