Adding and customizing video effects
- [Instructor] Your video effects can be subtle and naturally integrated into your movie, or they can be dazzling, turning your movie into a truly special video and audio experience. In this session, we're going to look at how to add a video effect to your movie, and then we'll show you how to adjust and customize the effect to your particular needs. To launch the Effects panel, you simply go over to the tool bar and select the fx button. Now, just a reminder, if you're in Quick view, when you go over here to Effects, you'll have a limited number of video effects available. But in Expert view, we have about 80 effects, 275 presets in a wide variety of categories. To locate an effect, you can either select a category and browse to the effect, you can also go to Show All and locate the effect this way, by scrolling through them, or you can quick search an effect by clicking on the little magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner and typing in the name of the effect.
