- [Instructor] When I created the visual effects for the assurance, I had my filmmaker hat on and not my author hat on. So I used the best tools for the job which aren't always the tools natively in After Effects. Which means that as you open the exercise files, you might get warnings about certain effects not being there, not being installed or whatever. If you don't have those plugins installed on your system, you can download demos of most, if not all of them or you can just watch the training without following along. The third party effects I used primarily in this course include Trapcode Form and Trapcode Particular, part of the Trapcode suite from Red Giant. The depth of field plug in by Frischluft, Primatte, which is part of Red Giant's Keying Suite, Mocha Prof from Boris FX which is both a stand alone and a plug in, and Element 3D by Video Copilot. Though I also do briefly refer to the free FX Console plugin also Video Copilot because it's great and I love it. Those are the bulk of the plugins I used in this course, but I used even more for the actual effects in the project. So even if you have all of these plugins that I just listed, you might still get a warning of a missing plugin with some of the exercise files. Some of those other plugins might include the Universe suite of plugins by Red Giant and the Magic Bullet Suite also from Red Giant and Optical Flares by Video Copilot. And there might be occasional little random third party effects here and there, but these are the go-to third party effects that I used throughout the visual effects of the assurance.
