- Okay, so this is the big one, the narrative scene. And I'm really excited about this, we have just over a one page script actually written by a good friend of mine, Daniel Facos. And you can actually download that script in PDF form if you'd like as part of this course, and use it as a reference when we're breaking down things, you're looking at the blocking, lighting, everything else. So what I want to do with this and all of the projects is show you the actual footage from the completed shoot, the hero footage first. So lets go ahead and watch this scene. - It's my manager's manager that's implementing the policy. I mean totally unfair, right? - [Female Speaker] Ah-huh. - It's not like I have a say in the matter. - Do you want to order in tonight? Or we could be bad and go to that chicken and waffles place? What are you doing? - Perhaps we could go out, but chicken and waffles is not exactly in line with the diet that Doctor Braven's gave us. - It's just one meal. - No, you're right. It's not like you've been sneaking candy bars behind my back (crinkling wrapper) or anything. - Okay, so there you have it. About a minute, minute plus on that scene. And as you can see a lot of different camera set ups, and a lot of nuances in terms of lighting, but all motivated in terms of decisions that were made. And to create a certain mood. And that's really what this particular project is all about, is breaking down all of that stuff that you just saw. So what I want to do is first show you what this space looks like or looked like when we first walked into it, and then we'll start breaking everything down.
