- Hi I'm Ashley Kennedy. Welcome to the Filmmaking Forum: Scene Analysis course. In this bi-weekly series, we're going to first screen one or multiple scenes from a feature film, short film, documentary, commercial, or other video project; And then we're going to move on to an interview with the filmmaker or editor. This will provide you a unique, inside look at the decisions that went into creating the scene in terms of story, structure, and style. And just so you know, the format of this course is a lot different than a typical lynda.com course. I interviewed filmmakers and editors from all over the world via skype, and excerpts from these conversations form the backbone of this course. So it's quite a different style, but even though the video and audio quality are not quite the benchmark of a typical lynda.com course; I definitely think you'll find the content within to be of great value.
