Synching audio with DSLR footage
As I mentioned, syncing the audio to all my videos is the first big chore of this project, and man it's a chore. There's nothing really hard about syncing audio, it's just you have to be really organized, and you're going to have to search around, and find the clips that go together. I got a head start on that by getting all of my clips labeled by subject matter. So I know exactly which ones are my interview, and I know which ones go together in terms of my multi-camera shots. So, I have XXA interview 01 Camera A, XXA interview 01 Camera B. So it's the first interview, the A part, and then A and B cameras. I've used these tags in, OS10 Maverick's, finder which lets me add these color-coordinated tags. So I,that's just another way that I can try and keep related things marked so that I know they go together. And then I've got to figure out which of my audio files goes with the right video files. After I've done that, it's just a matter of lining things up in my image editor until…
