Shooting some details to work with performance footage
With my wide master shots of, some of the story segments under my belt. Or under his belt, under somebody's belt. With those out of the way, I decided to go in for closeups. So this was a process of getting him to do the performances again. In some cases I had him redo whole stories, and in some cases I had him just do small bits of story. And I went in getting medium shots, sometimes pretty close up shots of his face, trying to get a couple of different angles so that I could cut well back into my master shot. Now I did most of this off the Tripod, and that was simply because I. That tripod, that particular tripod is hard for me to move quickly with and I wanted to really be able to get in and move around because these stories aren't very long. So I went handheld. Now that's risky. I'm risking camera shake. I've already got enough problems. Trying to stay in focus with an actor who's doing this a lot, and, but I decided to take the risk anyway.
