When you're at a location there's just so much that you could shoot and of course you don't necessarily know for sure what you're going to need. What should always be guiding your decisions is that final project that's out there and what it needs. I'm shooting a promotional thing, I'm trying to sell this show for Steven, I want people to know what the story of it's going to be. I want them to be interested in him. I want them to be compelled by him and go buy a ticket. That's my guiding thing. What can I shoot that will, that will support all of that? That said, there is a documentary aspect to this. I am telling a story and is the story of his preparation for this show. So while I'm here, I can also just forget the bigger issues and look at, now, what's the story? The story is he comes to the theater to, or he comes to this theater to rehearse. He does his rehearsal, he goes home, he blah, blah, blah. I need to tell that story visually, maybe I don't know.
